Myopic voters and politicians who have nothing to offer

This past month election campaign signs have popped up all over Ontario. These signs  formed the concept I presented to the client for this particular job. The October issue of IN TORONTO magazine examines the future of Ontario from a local perspective, where the municipal government is putting into place it’s slash and burn philosophy — threatening everything from libraries and daycare to arts funding (not to mention it’s war on the bicycle).

Here are a couple of variations I presented to the editor:

At all levels of government in Canada politicians claim to be listening to the public. Their actions suggest otherwise.
